保護部屋の猫たちに里親様が決まると
譲渡日までに一番良い状態でお渡ししたいと
いつも以上にケアしてあげてきていたのですが
茶トラのチビ君のお目目が
大変なことに。。。。
写真のようにキジトラのニイ君と一緒に
縦長のケージにチビ君は入っています
中にはお水の器が1個、爪とぎが右側に固定してあり
トイレの砂が一番下に入っています
何も危険な物もなく、日曜日の
午前中行き、チビ君のケージをそうじしたときには
チビ君の目はとてもきれいでした
ニイ君がくしゃみを先日してたので
風邪ならチビ君に移らないよう気をつけないと
と思ってたいたので、目やにが出ていないか
確認もしたのです。
木曜日には里親様がお迎えに
来てくださるのに、どうして？
ほんの1～２時間前に見た時はきれいな目だったし
ニイ君はお昼寝してて喧嘩をするような声や
音も聞こえなかったし
隣の部屋で大人の猫たちの写真を撮り
仔猫の部屋に戻ったらこんなに瞼が腫れあがってました
獣医さんに症状を説明するためチビ君の目の写真を何枚か 写しました。
（ここの記事には、あまりにもひどいので少しボケた写真を載せました）
3連休で獣医さんもお休みで
連絡したら先生は外出していたのですが
3時には戻って来てくださると言うので 2時にチビ君の異変に気づいてから
目をこすらないように抱っこしてなでて いました。甘えん坊のチビ君は
痛がるようすもなく、抱っこしてもらえたことの 方がうれしくて
ゴロゴロとのどを鳴らし 甘えていました。
私は来客が家に着く時間が近づいており、保護部屋の人やいつもお掃除や
獣医さん通いをしてくれる方たちがそろって 神戸へ出かけたのを見送った後だったので
今日は出てこれないと言ってたボランティア仲間に 無理言って来てもらって
獣医さんにチビ君を連れて行ってもらいました。
軽い麻酔をかけ、特殊なクスリを入れライトをあてると 炎症している部分が黄色く
光るらしいのですが 、目の瞬膜、周りの粘膜、眼球の下あたりが発光して いたようです。
何か薬品が目に入った可能性が高いらしいのですが
チビ君は目薬もさしてないし、ケージを洗ったりするときに
スプレーする除菌剤もその日は使用していないし
いつもと違ったことと言えば、トイレの容器を変えて
新品の砂に変えたことだけでした
まわりを見ても、ケージの中も薬品が目に入るようことは無いはずなのですが
目の洗浄をしてエリザベスカラーをしました
昨日も獣医さんに連れて行ってもらい目の洗浄をしてもらったら
少し腫れがおさまり、目やにで目がくっついてしまってたようですが
今日も洗浄しに行き、瞼の腫れはかなりひいたようです
里親様には真菌症の薬をもう少しこちらで飲ませてからの譲渡の方が
良いと、お迎えを少し延ばしていただいていました
それがまた延びてしまい、本当にこんなことになって申し訳なく
きっとがっかりされるだろうし、私たちの注意が足らなかったと思うでしょうし
ひょとしたら他の子になるかもしれないと思いました
ところが里親様はチビ君の事を心配され、今すぐ飛んで行きたい！と
里親さまの優しさがとてもうれしかったです
一日も早くあの可愛いチビ君の目に戻るよう2種類の目薬と 目の洗浄に通います
ごめんねチビ君。きっと何かあなたの目を傷つける原因があったはず
おなじような事がおきないように気をつけないといけないね
追記＊チビ君の里親様と書きましたが、お申込みの時にお見合いでほかの子猫にも
実際に会ってみて、相性を見て決められるということでした
チビ君を心配されるようすに私がはやとちりをしてチビ君に決められたんだと
思い込んでしまっていました
チビ君の回復を待ってくださっているのもチビ君にもし決まったときに連れて帰る
事ができるようにで、
ほかの子になった時は決してチビ君のお目目の事で変えたわけではないということを
みなさんに知っていていただきたいです。
先日見つけた親子猫ですが。。。
（2日前の写真。無防備に寝るキジトラ子猫）
今日の朝、保護しに向かいました
しかし、室外機の下に子猫の姿はなく
10日間ここでお乳を飲ませていたのに
昨日の晩か朝早くにどこかに子猫を移してしまったようです
移しそうな場所を探しましたが見当たらず。。。
危険を察知したんだね。
内心、保護しても保護部屋では風邪を引いている子も多く
連れて行ってゆずちゃんの産んだ子猫のように鼻を詰まらせお乳が飲めなくなり
死んでしまうのではと心配だったので
このまま住み慣れた場所の方が良いのかもしれないですね
安全な場所にもし母猫が仔猫を移したなら離乳まで見守っても良いかと思いました
今までの室外機の下は雨が流れるので早く保護したかったのですが。。。
なかなか思うようにはいきません
今日みかけたキジトラ君
甘えん坊でかなり人馴れしています
これから寒い冬が始まると、この子たちが
どうしているかいつも気になってしまいます
この子も保護部屋には連れていかず
里親募集をしようかな。。。
名まえをつけてあげなくちゃね
ひょっとして君が室外機の下にいた子猫の父親なの？
そしたら子猫もきっと性格二重丸ですね

大変なことになってたのねぇ。。。
しかし、不思議ですね。
どうして？どうして？
虫に刺されたって感じでもないし、、、
原因らしきものが分かるといいですね。
港の猫さん、
捕獲したのかな？とか、
気になってたのですが、
それまた、不思議？？？
なんか、不思議現象の連鎖でしたね。（苦笑）
それにしても、母親って、敏感なんですね。
単純な疑問なんですが、
運ぶ時って、やはり一匹づつくわえて？
かな？
とか、色々かってに想像して、
自分も頑張った気持ちになってる（笑）
でも、ブログで
色々な様子が伝わり、
応援したくなる～～

ゆきちゃん、こんな事ってあるんでしょうか
もう、心臓とまりそうに驚きました
チビ君を抱きしめオロオロしてましたよ～
3連休だし、帰らなきゃいけない時間は迫るしね
毎日、仲間が目の洗浄に連れて行ってくれ、目薬をさして
かなり良くなりました
猫は敏感ですね。
母猫はきっと何かを感じたんだろうね
仔猫を運ぶ時は首をくわえて１匹ずつ運ぶようですよ
仔猫は母猫に首をくわえられるとおとなしくなる習性があるんですって
だから猫は首を持たれると手足をまるめておとなしくなるんだね
雨や風を防げる場所に移しているといいんだけど
側溝とかだと流されちゃうからね
この母猫は育児放棄もした子だから心配だわ～
仔猫かなり可愛くなりそうな感じでしたよ～
